But what made me admire her and admire every
woman who struggles, was that she not only fought
for the rights of women, but also any human be-
ing who was being wronged in any way. In simple
terms, she caught all three rats in the trap, slaugh-
tered them and showed them how it’s done.
The three rats
Yes, yes I know. You are still wondering who the
three rats are.
So, the three rats are three dangerous rodentswhich,
if left unchecked, move insidiously andmercilessly
devour woman’s happiness. I am sure you know
who they are, right?
No? But you do, and very well indeed. So the
first is TOLERANCE. The woman very often be-
comes excessively tolerant, because she confuses
kindness with apathy. She tolerates because she is
scared of seeking her rights, because she believes
she will not succeed. This happens because she
does not know she is the most powerful creature on
the planet! Big mistake, because the way to win is
to demand until the very end.
The second rat, of course, is ABUSE; the abuse of
women’s rights if she manages to gain them. This is
damaging to her children, her partner, her colleagues
and generally, society as a whole. More than any-
thing though, it damages her very self, because ar-
rogance and happiness never go hand-in-hand.
The third and final rat is RIVARLY. Yes, you un-
derstand well: the corny and sometimes sick behav-
iours of envy that women have between them. I am
not speaking about women fights for unsubstantial
reasons. Am I not correct, who does not like a good
fight between women? Especially the media! And
what they would not give to broadcast such trash-
news to divert us from the real problems and at the
same time, humiliate and undermine the woman!
This is why the world is in the state it is in. Instead of
building a healthy female solidarity, you are scratch-
ing each other’s eyes out. You are blinded, literally,
by envy and cannot see the real essence of life.
If God was a woman
With everything that is going on around us, there
are times when I believe God is a man. Of course,
this is impossible because God could neither be a
man nor a woman, but a neutral entity. It is a fact
that almost all religions cast women aside and pas-
sionately support her inferiority. His self-appointed
representatives on earth probably believe that God
is certainly male, which is why they are mostly
men! A coincidence? I do not think so. They be-
have as servants of the god of money, as if God
was a multinational company. However, worst of
all, religions do not respect women much, or to the
degree that they should.
So impulsively, mymind sometimes drifts to the cut-
ting question: if Godwas awoman, even for just one
day, what would change in this world? How would
our lives be?You, let’s say, as a woman; what would
you change if you were God for one day? Would
you allow us to live in such a stiflingly, male-domi-
nated planet? Would you allow male rulers to cause
wars, the slaughtering of unarmed women and chil-
dren, and hunger? Would you allow even one child
to die of hunger on this planet? Unfortunately, today
thousands of children are dying.
Jot down what you would do to make the world a
better place and try to apply as many of these ideas
in action as you can!
