T
he new and hotly anticipated book by au-
thor of three best-sellers and life coach,
Andreas Ioannou
, The Diary of a Happy Wom-
an
, was presented on 2 April 2014 at the Forum
School Education in Nicosia.
In his first book, entitled
Apotypomata Psihis
(Soul Imprints), Andreas Ioannou achieved
something that few other authors have. He
reached out to readers to help them reveal their
sensitivity towards life, themselves and their
fellow human beings.
The author of six books – two of which were up
for a State Prize for Literature – was born in the
Troodos mountain range village of Temvria. He
studied Architecture and Social Sciences, ma-
joring in Psychology.
“But what does it matter? Universities do not
make you a human being but life itself does,
if you treat it right,” the author explains in his
personal biography.
He has worked in 25 different professions since
the age of 12, with multifaceted actions in many
businesses and organisations, which led to him
to receive a number of awards and accolades.
He gives lectures, interviews and arranges de-
bates on current affairs and general everyday
life events.
“When I have free time I make hand-made
natural soaps, swim, cook, travel, read, ride
my bike and sometimes, I am… patient,” the
writer explains. “I adore the sea and am crazy
about cartoons, psychological thrillers, people
who are fun and… a big slice of apple pie. I
was never interested in people who were full of
themselves, pampered, cowards, and dweebs,
jokers, ridiculous and arrogant. I am interested
in free thinking people, who have opinions –
even if they are wrong – and women who know
what they want and go after it, and while they
are sexy, they respect themselves at the same
time.”
Something… like a prologue
ByAndreas Ioannou
The Diary of a Happy Woman
is a book that every
woman should have; more essential than even her
expensive perfume, her favourite lipstick and her
sexy underwear; because no matter what they say,
it is better to be naked, with no make-up wearing
your body’s natural aroma and be happy, rather
than dressed to the nines, fully made-up, showered
in perfume and… unhappy. Do you agree?
This diary is unique and there is no other like it for
different reasons. However, the most interesting
reason that this book is unique is because it is not
written by a woman, but… a Man. Namely I. Adi-
ary like this, under normal circumstances, should
be written by a woman instead of me, considering
she would not be afraid of the three rats. Who are
the three rats? I will introduce them to you a little
further down, because, if I introduced them now,
you would stop reading.
Like I said before, under normal circumstances,
this would be written by a woman.
I, however, never write “under normal circum-
stances”. You may have already realised this, or
you will easily realise it if you have read, or plan to
