Five Years inAction
This year, the ISFFC celebrates its fifth year in
action as an international competition festival.
Last year’s opening added the 3D Mapping
technique, which brought out the third dimension.
The Rialto Theatre building was transformed
through the use of image and sound projected
on its surface! This year, the ISFFC prepared
another 3DMapping show, one that was longer in
duration and with different aesthetics and visuals.
ISFFC honoured with ΕFFE Label
As one of Europe’s finest festivals, the ISFFC
was honoured with the EFFE Label 2015-2016
(Europe for Festivals, Festivals for Europe), a
certificate of excellence and quality recognised
across Europe.
EFFE – Europe for Festivals, Festivals for Europe,
is the portal for citizens and professionals to
discover and get involved in Europe’s festivals. It
is a new international festival platform connecting
festivals that are deeply committed to the arts, their
communities and European values. Above all,
EFFE recognises the immense excellence of these
festivals in their daily local work across Europe.
