Michaelides, who was born in Paphos, discov-
ered his talent in sculpture in his pre-schooling
age. He studied Economics, Business Admin-
istration and Fine Arts (Sculpture) in Lebanon,
England and Greece and holds BA, BBA, MA
and PhD Degrees.
He has worked as a high school teacher and as
a civil servant in the Ministry of Finance for
20 years before his early retirement, to go pri-
vate. Since 1997, he has organised seven per-
sonal Ceramic Art Sculpture exhibitions, at the
Gloria Art Gallery
in Nicosia and the
Morfi
Art Gallery
in Limassol and has participated in
20 group exhibitions presented in Cyprus. His
innovating and talented ceramic art work has
been accepted with love by the general public
of Cyprus.
Presently, he is the President and Managing
Director of his own group of companies and
a Board member in a number of professional
associations and philanthropic institutions, as
well as organisations in Cyprus and abroad.
