Tetra
– Tetra is the follow up from the Pente
series. The emphasis is on the circle, which
has great importance throughout the works. Is
the circle a window from where we can look
through into the abyss? Or is it the outline of
a dark unknown planet with a total eclipse in
process?
One to One
– These are smaller works and fol-
low on the lines of known themes, explored by
past masters.
Other works
– The freedom of movement,
form and expression is presented here through
a group of works including HYPNAGOGIA,
BLUE SEA, THE FLIGHT, INFLUX and
TRIO. Above all, these works are a testimony
to his mastery of colour and texture.
Dr Criton Tomazos concludes:
“Chris’s artworks are visual statements, shaped
by a master colourist, a versatile and accom-
plished artist, inspiring and uplifting the viewer
to the highest plains of the creative imagination
and vision.”
This exhibition is a lifelong ambition of the
artist, to show all his abstract works under one
roof.
It is hoped that this will be followed by a spe-
cial “retrospective exhibition” in the very near
future in which the artist will present his varied
and different schools of work for total conclu-
sion. He was supported by his son Alexis and
all his family and the James Hambro & Partners
LLP group. They include:
The renowned photographer and cameraman
Doros Partasides
, well known for recording
the suffering and the destruction from the Turk-
ish invasion of Cyprus and his vast archives of
the traditions and culture of the island. His work
has been exhibited in Brussels, Cyprus, France,
Greece, Italy, London, Spain and other places.
He is also venerated for his regular contribution
