A series of twelve portraits, the purpose of
In Trance
is to
not
describe the subjects they
project. The area in which the works were ex-
hibited was a place of worship for the Greek god
of ecstasy and death, Dionysus, so the portraits
attempt to show the psycho-synthesis of the
subject, each of whom was photographed while
in a state of trance brought about by death, by
love, and by whatever lies in-between. (www.
