Synopsis
Volunteers hold funerals for the unknown or
forgotten deceased in the coastal resort of Stel-
la-Plage. On the beach at Stella-Plage, a phone
rings in a phone booth, and a young couple
strolling by picks up the receiver. At the other
end of the line, a mother is trying to reach her
daughter.

Synopsis
Giano and Luc, who hardly know each other,
are driving through a wood toward Luc’s im-
mense villa to take shelter from the rain. Af-
ter breaking the tension in the car by talking,
and disagreeing, they start wrestling playfully,
only to end up in an accident. Panic-stricken,
Giano doesn’t know whether Luc is dead or un-
conscious. After he arrives at the villa, Luc’s
sister returns home unexpectedly, and Giano
hides, wracked with guilt. He finally musters
the courage to talk to the girl, but she virtually
ignores him. When she wanders off within the
villa, Giano recovers Luc’s body and carries it
out to the car. He sets off again for the woods…

Synopsis
