he Rotaract Club of Nicosia presented the
art exhibition
RotarART
on 9-11 May 2014
at the Aigaia School of Art and Design. The ex-
hibition was inaugurated by former First Lady
Photini Papadopoulou on 9 May, with entertain-
ment provided by the
band Zilla Project.
The exhibition presented the artworks of 38 art-
ists – painters, sculptors, engravers, ceramicists
and photographers. The artists, who influence
and contribute to the world of art in Cyprus,
united with the Rotaract Club for a three-day cel-
ebration of art, with the ultimate goal of giving
all proceeds to the association “Elpida”, which
is a charity for children who suffer from cancer
and leukemia, and the Nicosia Intervention Cen-
tre (Cyprus AutismAssociation).
The grand sponsor of the
RotarART
exhibition
was Cosmos Insurance. It was also sponsored by
Michalis Avraam Partners Ltd, Hellenic Bank,
Dickran Ouzounian Co. Ltd, the official repre-
sentative of Toyota cars in Cyprus, and the print-
ing office of Kemanes Digital Printing.
