According to the General Director of the Cul-

Culture, Eleni Nikita, the exhibition is also in
honour and remembrance of Tasos Stephanides,
the metaphysical, prophetic painter and writer,

wife Katy Fasouliotou Stephanidou, a leading
and pioneering figure of modernism. “Katy’s
work created a bridge for Cypriot art to reach
the point it is at today,” says Nikita.
